Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager at Innovent, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our software development services. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure a seamless experience for our clients and to achieve revenue targets. Experience with online freelancing and familiarity with various tools will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze potential clients and industries to target for business development activities.
2. Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events.
- Utilize freelance platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making processes.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Use CRM software to manage client interactions and sales processes.
4. Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business development goals.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations to pitch our software development services to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a deep understanding of our software products and services.
- Provide feedback from clients and market insights to help shape the company's product and service offerings.
6. Reporting and Performance Tracking:
- Track and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and outcomes.
- Use project management tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com to manage tasks and track progress.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development progress and forecasts.
Tools and Experience:
1. Project Management Tools:
- Experience with tools such as Trello, Asana, or Monday.com for managing projects and tasks.
2. Communication Tools:
- Proficiency in using communication tools like Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
3. Time Tracking and Invoicing Tools:
- Familiarity with time tracking tools like Toggl or Harvest, and invoicing tools like FreshBooks or QuickBooks.
4. File Sharing and Collaboration Tools:
- Use of Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive for file sharing and collaboration.
5. Freelance Platforms:
- Experience with platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer for finding and securing business opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development, sales, or a related role within the software development or IT industry.
- Experience with online freelancing platforms and tools is highly desirable.
