Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our team in Lahore on an onsite basis. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications by conducting rigorous testing, including but not limited to manual testing, automated testing, performance testing, and regression testing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a firm grasp of software development, and have a passion for quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Work closely with the development team to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects.
- Automate tests using test frameworks and tools.
- Participate in software design discussions, reviews, and test strategy sessions.
- Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and documentation.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest testing tools, strategies, and trends.
Requirements for the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience working with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
