Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Front End MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Lahore on a full-time, onsite basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack. You will also be tasked with enhancing front-end performance, documenting front-end components, and staying up to date on the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability
- Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
